The Impersonal Life

First published anonymously in 1914, The Impersonal Life is one of the seminal texts of the New Thought movement. Written entirely in the voice of the inner "I AM" — the Impersonal Self speaking directly to the reader — it invites the seeker to still the intellect and listen to the Real Self within. The book teaches that this innermost "I" is not the personality with its faults and fears, but the transcendent Self that knows all things, always knew, and always was. It profoundly influenced later teachers and remains a quiet classic on the direct realization of the divine Self.
